  3. There are two gopher-penninfo gateways:
  4.  
  5.        Gophtech: the gateway which allows Gopher clients to
  6. access information in PennInfo (TechInfo) server.
  7.  
  8.        Techinpher: the gateway which allows PennInfo
  9. (TechInfo) clients to access information in GopherSpace.
  10.  
  11. Both have been developed and run on the Ultrix operating
  12. system; portability to other systems is uknown.
  13.  
  14. The techinpher gateway has exited unexpectedly on a number of
  15. occasions, so I consider it to still be beta (if not alpha).
  16. If you've never built, installed & run the TechInfo server
  17. (the software from MIT), you probably will find the
  18. techinpher gateway to be very cryptic.

  21. modules for the techinpher gateway are copyrighed by MIT
  22. (based on version 3.1 of their code).
